This e-reader file is in EBK format and requires the downloading of our free e-reader software called the ‘IMO Bookshelf’ to view the file. Once you have purchased this title you must go to ‘My Account / Downloads’ and then ‘E-books, E-reader files & Subscriptions’. The purpose of the IGC Code is to provide an international standard for the safe carriage by sea of liquefied gases (and other substances listed in the Code) in bulk. To minimize risks to the ships, their crews and the environment, prescribes the design and constructional standards of such ships and the equipment they should carry.
